How to Use NCERT for BPSC (Important)

  • Read Class 6–8 for concept clarity
  • Read Class 9, 10, 11 & 12 for direct exam relevance
  • Revise using short notes
  • Practice NCERT-based mock tests after completion

NOTE:

  • NCERT Polity of Class 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12 may be used only for basic understanding. For exam-oriented preparation, Indian Polity by M. Laxmikanth is sufficient.
  • NCERT History of Class 9 and the new Class 11 focuses mainly on World History, which is not directly required for BPSC Prelims and Mains. These books can be avoided unless the syllabus changes.
  • Geography of NCERT Class-6 to Class-12 must be studied by all candidates.
